By Markos Papadatos     Feb 5, 2015 in Music
Country star Joe Nichols should feel cool with the success of his latest radio single. "Hard To Be Cool" is in the Top 30, and climbing.
It has charted for 23 weeks in the Billboard Hot Country Airplay charts, and it moves up two weeks from its previous position. It is the second track on his latest studio album, Crickets, which was released on Red Bow Records.
"Hard To Be Cool" is the follow-up to Nichols' previous single, the upbeat "Yeah," which reached No. 1 on the Billboard country charts. It was co-produced by Mickey Jack Cones and Derek George, and co-written by Rob Hatch and Jason Sellers. Nichols' new single garnered an "A" rating from Digital Journal.
Nichols will be a part of the Farmborough Festival in New York on June 26, along with Luke Bryan, Brad Paisley and Dierks Bentley.
