Grammy-winning country songstress Jennifer Nettles (from the duo Sugarland) has signed a new record deal with Big Machine Records.
Nettles will release a new radio single this October, and her upcoming solo studio album will be released in early 2016. This news will coincide with her headlining "Playing With Fire" tour, which will take place in over 20 cities this October, and it will feature fellow country singer Brandy Clark and Ryan Kinder.
The songstress announced that she is stoked and honored to join the Big Machine family, and that she is honored to work with Big Machine Label Group CEO and president Scott Borchetta.
As part of her tour schedule this fall, she will be performing at the NYCB Theatre at Westbury on Long Island in Westbury, New York, on November 22.
She will also join the cast of the Dolly Parton television biopic, Coat of Many Colors, which is slated to air on NBC on December 10.
Throughout her musical career, Nettles has won three Grammy awards, among countless other country awards. These include a 2007 Grammy for "Best Country Collaboration with Vocals" for "Who Says You Can't Go Home" with Bon Jovi, as well as the 2009 Grammy award for "Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group" for her self-penned "Stay" with Kristian Bush from her duo, Sugarland, as well as the Grammy for "Best Country Song" for writing "Stay."
