By Markos Papadatos     Apr 21, 2014 in Music
On April 17, Jason Wyatt, the lead singer of the country duo, The Lost Trailers, announced his resignation from the band.
The singer cited an interest in restarting his solo career and a need to focus on the growth of his music production, songwriting and his artist development company, Jason Wyatt Productions.
Wyatt has been signed on as a consultant and producer with American Country Star, the Nashville-based national music competition, for hopefuls who wish to go into country music.
He is currently hard at work on his upcoming solo album that is slated for release later on in the year.
"I really appreciate these last few years with the Trailers," Wyatt stated in a press release. "I have loved playing to all of the great fans around the country. All I can say is stay excited… there's a lot more to come."
Their most successful radio single to date is their Top 10 hit "Holler Back" from 2008.
