By Markos Papadatos     Aug 13, 2014 in Music
Jared Leto and his rock band, Thirty Second to Mars, will be playing a show at the Nikon at Jones Beach Theater on August 19 in Wantagh, New York.
This will be a part of "The Carnivores" tour, along with acclaimed rock band Linkin Park and opening band, AFI.
As Digital Journal reported, this past May, Thirty Seconds To Mars played at the inaugural iHeartRadio Music awards, and they nailed their single "City of Angels" live, which is a song that Leto wrote himself and he co-produced it with Grammy-winning English producer Steve Lillywhite.
Aside from his musical endeavors, Leto is an accomplished actor who won the 2014 "Best Supporting Actor" Oscar for his noteworthy role and transformative performance on Dallas Buyers Club. He also won the "Hollywood Breakthrough Actor Award" for that performance, among other accolades, such as the Screen Actor's Guild award and the Golden Globe.
This is one lineup of rock bands that should not be missed experiencing in a live setting. To learn more about Thirty Seconds to Mars and their forthcoming tour dates on "The Carnivores" tour, check out their official website.
