New York - The good news for country singer Jake Owen keeps on coming. While he was in New York City for a sold-out show at Hammerstein Ballroom, he received a pleasant surprise backstage.
Label executives and his management team surprised the RCA Nashville recording artist with the "golden" news during a pre-show toast backstage. He received a plaque for selling over 500,000 copies of "Beachin'" in the United States alone. This marks his fastest-selling single to date, and it is a track from his latest Days of Gold album, which was produced by Joey Moi, who has worked with country duo Florida Georgia Line.
As Digital Journal previously reported, his set at New York's Hammerstein Ballroom was electrifying, where he played with The Cadillac Three.
