Country star Jake Owen kicked off his second major national tour, his "Days of Gold" tour. He threw the ultimate beach party in Brookings, South Dakota, on March 20.
Owen also brought his high-energy show to arenas in Fargo, North Dakota, on March 21, as well as and Bemidji, Minnesota, on March 22.
Based on his opening night performance, Owen admitted in a press statement that "he puts on one heck of a beach party."
This is only the start of his 55-city tour. It will continue until October and it is expected to wrap up in his hometown of Vero Beach, Florida. It will feature such special guests as country groups Eli Young Band, Parmalee and The Cadillac Three, as well as Valory Music Company recording country artist Thomas Rhett, all of which are playing on select dates.
One of the "Days of Gold" tour stops will be at New York City's Hammerstein Ballroom on May 30.
His latest single "Beachin'" was well-received by Digital Journal. It is making its way up the Billboard Hot Country Airplay charts. It is the follow-up to his lead single and title track "Days of Gold."
