Huntington - On August 18, rapper Jake Miller will be playing a show at The Paramount in Huntington, New York, which is presented by 106.1 BLI.
Miller will be sharing the stage with The Karma Killers and Nick Tangorra Band, the latter of which were recently profiled on Digital Journal. For more information on Nick Tangorra Band, check out their website.
A 21-year-old rapper, Miller is also a singer, musician and songwriter, and he hails from Weston, Florida. His musical path commenced at a young age, teaching himself how to play the drums and the guitar, coupled with the help of a few homemade YouTube videos, he created a buzz and many business leaders in the music business took notice of the young prodigy.
His first live performance was in March 2011, when he opened for veteran rapper Snoop Dogg in Pompano Beach, Florida and subsequently opened for rapper Mac Miller in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Throughout his career, Miller has shared the stage with Cody Simpson, We The Kings, Jason Derulo, Cee Lo Green, Ne-Yo, Gym Class Heroes, Cobra Starship, Sammy Adams, Austin Mahone, among others. As of November of last year, he signed to Warner Brothers Records.
