Interview: John Russo from Reverse Order talks new music (Includes interview)

Regarding their new album, Russo said, “When we had done this record, the original plan was to record two songs that we had written, and then write a song from scratch from studio.”

Russo listed “Call My Name” as his personal favorite song from the album. “That has the most personal meaning to me,” he admitted. “I am very, very happy with all of the songs on the record.”

On their plans for the future, he said, “Right now, we’ve just finished up a tour. We’ve been on the road since February, and we went all across the country. We had a lot of fun doing that, and we literally just walked in the home door yesterday. We are going to write more music and we are going to be spending a decent part of the summer on the Warped Tour. We are starting in Ohio and going west.”

Each day, the band is motivated by their love for music. “We’ve been really blessed to be able to perform and write as much as we do,” he said.

In addition, he revealed that they are motivated when fans come up to them and tell them how they music has helped them through the difficult times in their lives.
