Los Angeles - Country stars Hunter Hayes and Taylor Swift triumph at this year's Teen Choice Awards and sweep the country music categories.
Hayes bested such country heavyweight names as Luke Bryan, Jake Owen, Keith Urban and label-mate Blake Shelton, and was named "Choice Male Country Artist."
He topped the Billboard country charts with his latest studio album Storyline, released on Atlantic Nashville, and he has a new single out "Tattoo," which is upbeat and high-energy.
A 22-year-old country star, Hunter set a Guinness World record for playing 10 concerts in the span of a 24-hour time period, while simultaneously partnering up with ConAgra Foods, in an effort to put an end to child hunger as part of his "24 Hour Road Race."

Swift on the other hand was crowned "Choice Female Country Artist" at the Teen Choice Awards, where she reigned supreme over fellow nominees Jana Kramer, Miranda Lambert, Kacey Musgraves and Carrie Underwood.
A Grammy-winning global music star, Swift will appear in a worldwide live stream with Yahoo! on August 18 in New York City, as indicated by a post on her Facebook page.
Congratulations to Hayes and Swift on their latest Teen Choice award wins.
