Grand Ole Opry star Jim Ed Brown will be releasing his first studio solo album in thirty years entitled, "In Style Again."
His forthcoming project is slated for a release in January of 2015 on the record label Plowboy Records. The veteran country musician shared in a press statement that he loves new music. "I guess the whole world does. It's always good to hear a new song. I love what I do. People have always been great to me. They have accepted me into their homes and lives. It's unreal what radio and television has done for me. I am a very blessed man," Brown elaborated in the press release.
Throughout his illustrious career in country, Brown has had hits as a member of a trio, as well as a solo artist and as a duo thanks to his major duets with acclaimed country songstress Helen Cornelius.
His new album will include 12 solo recordings from Brown, where the song "When The Sun Says Hello To The Morning" will feature harmonies from his sisters. Fans can also expect collaborations with Country Music Hall of Famer Vince Gill, and fellow Grand Ole Opry members The Whites. He is also reunited with Cornelius on one of its tracks.
In addition to his music, Brown was the commercial spokesperson for Dollar General Stores for over a decade, and he has been a long-time member of the Grand Ole Opry since 1963.
This is truly one collection of classics that will certainly please listeners of traditional country music, by one of the genre's most timeless and best-loved baritone voices.
