article imageGarth Brooks: King of album charts with 'Man Against Machine'

By Markos Papadatos     Dec 28, 2014 in Music
Country superstar Garth Brooks has a major reason to celebrate. His newest album "Man Against Machine" has reclaimed the top Billboard spot for country albums.
Brooks' CD has charted for six weeks on the Billboard Top Country Album charts, and it has bumped Carrie Underwood's Greatest Hits collection out of the No. 1 position. Man Against Machine was released on November 11, via his new record label, RCA Nashville.
His latest album features the lead single "People Loving People," which garnered a lackluster review from Digital Journal. His follow-up single "Mom" is making its way up the Billboard Hot Country Airplay charts, sitting in the Top 35.
In the Billboard Hot Country singles charts, Tim McGraw stays steady at No. 1 with his newest release "Shotgun Rider."
As Digital Journal reported, Brooks showcased tremendous heart last month as he serenaded a cancer patient at his Minneapolis concert.
