Modern country fans of hit country duo Florida Georgia Line are in for a real treat. They announced the release of their new single "Dirt" on their social networks.
They will debut their highly anticipated song on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on July 8. On the following day, they will be performing "Dirt" on Live! with Kelly and Michael, along with their platinum-selling single "This Is How We Roll," their collaboration with country mega-star Luke Bryan, whose remix features Jason Derulo.
Their single "Dirt" will be available at all digital retailers tomorrow, July 8, and it will immediately impact the radio airwaves. It is the lead single from their sophomore album, which was produced yet again by Joey Moi. Their upcoming project is slated for release this fall, via their record label, Republic Nashville. It will be the follow-up to their double-platinum debut studio effort Here's To The Good Times, which has sold over 14.9 million tracks worldwide.
Most recently, Florida Georgia Line scored a "Teen Choice Awards" nomination for "Choice Country Group," where fans ages 13 to 19 can cast their votes for them, by clicking here. The award show will take place on August 10 and it will air on Fox.
Florida Georgia Line is made up of Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard. They have had four consecutive, multi-week No. 1 singles with "Stay," "Get Your Shine On," "Round Here" and their multi-platinum single "Cruise," making them the only musical act in history to join Brooks & Dunn in achieving this accolade.
Their song "Cruise" holds the record for longest No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts, and it has racked up over 7 million downloads. It is also the best-selling digital Country single of all time, as indicated by SoundScan.
They are currently on the road as direct support for Jason Aldean's "Burn It Down" tour and this November, they will host "This is How We Cruise" aboard the Norwegian Pearl.
