"Yep, yep," it's official. Dustin Lynch's latest radio single "Where It's At" has reached the Top 10 hit on country radio.
This marks the platinum-selling country recording artist's second Top 10 radio hit. The song soared to No. 10 on both the Billboard Hot Country Airplay charts and the Mediabase/Country Aircheck charts.
"Where It's At" is known for its signature "Yep, Yep" hooks, and it is the lead single and title track from his upcoming studio album, which will be out on September 9, via his record label, Broken Bow Records. It is on its way towards being certified gold, which should be happening in the next few weeks.
The single was co-written by Cary Barlowe, Zach Crowell and Matt Jenkins. Country producer Mickey Jack Cones, who has worked with such esteemed country artists as Joe Nichols and Jason Aldean, served as its producer.
Most recently, on July 27, Lynch performed his single "Where It's At" outside Boston's historic Fenway Park, to a packed crowd, as seen in the video below.
His sophomore studio effort is expected to be a highly personal album and it chronicles his life over the last two years as he rose from a unknown singer-songwriter to the sole new male country vocalist to earn a No. 1 debut album in 2012, with his eponymous CD. It will contain 15 tracks and Lynch co-penned five of the songs on there.
