Toronto - It isn't a secret that Drake always keeps the OVO Fest audience on its toes, typically with surprise guests. This year's fest wasn't an exception to the rule, as Drake brought out the likes of J. Cole, Usher, and G-Unit for the fest's second day.
The annual OVO Fest is known to always have surprise guests, much to Drake's liking. According to Complex, the festival's first night of its two-day festival began with an opening set from YG, to perform "Who Do You Love." The night also included a performance from OutKast, who has been spending the entire summer performing at festivals all across the country — including Coachella and Governor's Ball.
On the second night, Drake brought out special guests J. Cole, Usher, 50 Cent, G-Unit, and others. Reportedly, Drake brought out 50 Cent and G-Unit for both hits "What Up Gangsta" and "I Get Money." Also appearing to start off the second night of the festival was Jhene Aiko, who reportedly "performed a mix of old and new material, including "The Worst." Whereas OutKast headlined day one, Drake closed out the second night with an impressive 40-song setlist.
According to Consequence of Sound, the 40-song setlist included tracks from all three of Drake's studio releases, Thank Me Later, Take Care, and Nothing was the Same. The entire setlist was as follows:
