New York - On September 11, Def Leppard's lead guitarist Phil Collen will be performing in New York with his blues side project, Delta Deep.
This will mark their only show in "The Big Apple." They will be performing in an intimate setting at New York City's National Historic landmark, The Players, which America's oldest private social club from the late 1800s. This will be the lead-off performance of "The Players NYC 2015" season.
Previously, the blues group Delta Deep had an acclaimed performance in Hollywood at The Hotel Cafe. They will perform new songs from their newest studio album that was released on June 23, which garnered a favorable review from Digital Journal. They are also slated to perform several special songs at this forthcoming concert.
Aside from Phil Collen on guitars and vocals, Delta Deep is comprised of Debbi Blackwell-Cook on lead vocals, Forrest Robinson on percussion and drums and Robert DeLeo on bass.
Bassist Robert DeLeo will not be able to join them for this New York show, due to his prior commitments with the band Stone Temple Pilots, but he is scheduled to appear at a future show with Delta Deep.
