Massapequa Park - Long Island fans of country darling Danielle Bradbery are in for a real treat. She will be playing a free show in New York this summer.
Her concert will take place on August 2 at the John J. Burns Town Park in Massapequa, New York. It is sponsored by Roslyn Savings Bank, a division of New York Community Bank.
She had previously played in the Long Island area this past February when she opened for country superstar Brad Paisley as part of his "Beat This Winter" tour at Nassau Coliseum.
Bradbery won the fourth season of the reality singing competition, The Voice, while under the mentor-ship of country mega-star Blake Shelton. She was subsequently signed to Big Machine Records, which is home to such artists as Taylor Swift, Tim McGraw, Rascal Flatts, among others.
Her lead single "The Heart of Dixie" was a Top 15 hit on country radio, and her current single "Young in America" is making its way up the Billboard Hot Country Airplay charts. As Digital Journal previously reported, the music video for her new song was delightful.
