Country star Jim Ed Brown tops charts, charms on ACM red carpet

His latest studio album, In Style Again, reached the No.1 spot on The Roots Music Reports’ Top 50 True Country Album charts, proving that his newest studio offering has resonated well with his fans, peers and critics alike. In addition, he participated at the 2015 Academy of Country Music (ACM) awards’ red carpet, which was held in Dallas, Texas, where he conducted multiple interviews with various well-known television, online and print outlets.

This has been a banner year for the country crooner, especially since he underwent treatment for lung cancer, and most recently, it was announced that he was headed to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, as part of its “Veterans Era Artist” category, for its Class of 2015, along with his two sisters.

Brown has been a member of the Grand Ole Opry since August 12, 1963.
