Rising country singer Elizabeth Lyons is back with her new single, the fun and feel-good tune "Jeep!" She co-wrote it with her producer, Matt Nolen.
This week, the annual CMA Music Festival is taking place in Nashville, Tennessee, and Lyons is set to perform at 2:00 p.m. on June 8 at AT&T's U-Verse stage, and she will be connecting with fans at her CMA Fan Fair booth No. 671 at Music City Center on June 5 through June 8.
Her summer is expected to be quite busy with a great deal of touring. On June 22, she will also release another track "#PartyRules," which she co-wrote with Dan Swinimer.
Most striking about Lyons is her bubbly personality and care-free nature. These two new tracks are the follow-ups to her critically-acclaimed eponymous EP, where she co-write all six songs on there. Her EP charted at No. 42 on the National Country Album iTunes charts in less than 24 hours, and it remained in the Top 200 for a week; furthermore, on December 6, 2012, her EP debuted at No. 10 on Billboard's Heatseekers East North Central chart.
Lyons' debut single, "Everything Tonight," was co-penned with her producer Matt Nolen and Grammy-nominated songwriter Ryan Tyndell. It charted No. 96 on the MusicRow charts and the video for the track was directed by Mason Dixon, who produced Jake Owen's "Barefoot Blue Jean Night" and "The One That Got Away," went on to chart at No. 8 on iTunes Top Country Music Videos chart and No.18 on iTunes Top Videos charts for all genres.
To date, the young and talented songstress has sold over 73,000 downloads of her music online, and she has had 8,167 streams on Sound Cloud, which is impressive for an independent recording artist.
This summer, Lyons will be playing live at Country USA in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, as one of the openers for country mega-star Luke Bryan, Summerfest in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Windy City Smokeout in Chicago, Illinois, and Iowa State Fair Knapp Amphitheater in Des Moines, Iowa.
