article imageCountry singer Brett Eldredge thanks parents at No. 1 party

By Markos Papadatos     Aug 22, 2014 in Music
Nashville - Country singer Brett Eldredge celebrated his second No. 1 single at a party held in the BMI building in Nashville, on August 20.
It was for the success of his hit single "Beat of the Music," which was co-written with Heather Morgan and Ross Copperman, and he toasted to both songwriters, and presented both with a bottle of Monte Alban tequila according to an article in People.
"Beat of the Music" was revealed to be the "most-played country song" of 2014 to date, which is quite an accomplishment. Known for celebrating milestones in crazy ways, Eldredge went shark diving in the Bahamas, as Digital Journal reported.
Ever-gracious, Eldredge thanked his parents for all of their constant support and unconditional love, his mother, Robin, and father Chris, who used to run the sound for him back in his high school days, as indicated in Country Weekly.
The Paris, Illinois, native noted that his brother, Brice, believed in him from the start, and he would tell everybody that Eldredge was going to be somebody someday, and it is safe to say that Brice was spot on."My mom, dad and brother are here, my family is the biggest part of my world," Eldredge remarked emotionally, according to People.
Brice actually makes a cameo in Eldredge's "Beat of the Music" video.
Aside from his No.1 party, Eldredge participated in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge this week, where he encouraged people to donate to the ALS Association, where the proceeds go towards finding a cure for Lou Gehrig's disese and he took this challenge to the extreme, where he had ice dumped on him on five different occasions as seen in the YouTube video below.
His latest single, the love ballad "Mean to Me," is already climbing the country charts and it has broken into the Top 45. It garnered a positive review from Digital Journal.
