Nashville - Country queen Dolly Parton has accepted the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, just like many other well-known musicians and celebrities.
Parton was challenged by several people including fellow Country Music Hall of Famer, Kenny Rogers, who collaborated with her on their smash hit "Islands in the Stream."
While he doubted that she would fulfill this challenge, she proved him wrong and proved that nothing would stand in her way for a good cause.
"Kenny said you'll never do it with your false hair, your false eyelashes, and your false nails," Parton is heard saying in her ALS Ice Bucket Challenge video. "Kenny, you'd be surprised at what all I do with my falses; for a good cause and a good laugh," the veteran songstress added.
Parton took this challenge in her Nashville home, after resting from her successful "Blue Smoke World Tour." She wound up drowning down the wings, nails, as well as her lashes with that polar plunge.
Ever-classy, the country living legend did not challenge anyone in return, yet she encouraged everybody to make a generous donation for the cause, just like she did.
