Cherie Currie of The Runaways is back with a brand new album entitled "Reverie," which marks her first project in 35 years.
Her new album features the late Kim Fowley on four tracks, and Lita Ford on three songs. Currie co-wrote eight tracks on the CD.

She became the lead singer of The Runaways at 15 years old, where she sang lead, and Joan Jett was the lead and rhythm guitarist of the band. Following her tenure on The Runaways, she became a solo artist.
Her life story was made into the critically-acclaimed feature film, The Runaways, where actress Dakota Fanning portrays Currie, and Kristen Stewart (from The Twilight Saga) played Joan Jett. The movie was based on Currie's memoir, Neon Angel: A Memoir of a Runaway.
Aside from being a singer and songwriter, Currie is also an author and actress who starred in the Jodie Foster film Foxes, and is a world renowned chainsaw-carving artist. To learn more about Currie's chainsaw carving, click here.
