Chatting with TJ Byrnes from Transmission Party (Includes interview)

“I had a long week of preparing the next phase of Transmission Party,” he said. “This week we started a social media campaign just to let people know the story behind our band and the songs.”

When asked about his personal favorite song from their self-titled album, he noted that it is a revolving song, that constantly changes. At the moment, he listed “Is Your Love Strong Enough” as his favorite track, as well as the closing tune “Don’t You Worry ‘Bout Me.” “Everybody loves ‘Don’t You Worry ‘Bout Me’,” he admitted.

The songs on the new Transmission Party album were based on high school and college experiences, as well as break-ups. “A lot of those songs are pretty old,” he said. “The next batch of songs that I am working on is a little more experimental.”
