Regarding their performance of “Juliet,” which was televised on the ABC Network during this year’s Columbus Day Parade, Rafe said, “That was incredible. For our first legitimate TV appearance, it was very nerve-wrecking but it was great.”
Their new single “Damage Done” is quite emotional and they created a music video for the song. “I had been listening to the song and there was such a meaning that I wanted to touch on, with its ant-bullying and suicide awareness. Whether it’s going to change the world or people’s ways of thinking, that is what we were aiming on,” he said.
Rafe added, “There is one thing that you can guarantee each day: the sun will rise. If you know that the sun is going to rise, you are going to have a good day. You absolutely have to be an optimistic.”
The Tangorra brothers shared their love and life-long appreciation for magician Criss Angel. “We love him. He is seriously ‘The Mindfreak.’ Growing up, we have seen him live, and he actually grabbed me and brought me on stage for one of his acts. That was really cool since I didn’t expect it. He was holding me as I was kicking a robot and I dropped to the ground, and I looked around and said ‘where did he go?’ and the robot lifts off his head and Criss is in the robot. I don’t know how it happened. He still has me thinking. I have yet to see anybody better than Criss Angel,” Nick said.
