Catching up with Lorena Cajes: New single ‘Numb’ and video (Includes first-hand account)

Her forthcoming single should not be confused with the Linkin Park song of the same title. On her new single, “Numb,” she said, “I am very, very excited. It has been a long time. I have been working really hard. It was more work than I originally thought. The producers did a really great job with it.”

Cajes revealed that “Numb” is a very encouraging song. “I wrote it during a time when I was feeling discouraged, and it was like I was talking to myself and giving myself encouraging words. My hope is that other people will listen to it and be inspired by it. We all feel a little numb sometimes, so hopefully the people that will listen to it will find it encouraging,” she said.

The Long Island songstress noted that the song will be available via a digital download on her website and on Soundcloud. It will be a track on her upcoming EP, which is in the works.

Cajes hinted that there will be a lyric video and a music video for “Numb.” “This is my first music video. I am so excited for it,” she said. “Hopefully, it will be released not too long after ‘Numb.’ It’s a free download and hopefully, if they like it, they will get the EP.”
