Country singer Brett Eldredge has scored another feather in his hat. He is up for the Country Music Association (CMA) "New Artist of the Year" award.
In this year's CMA "New Artist" category, the Paris, Illinois, native, is in the running along with country singers Brandy Clark, Kip Moore, Thomas Rhett and Cole Swindell.
Two of his singles "Don't Ya" and "Beat of The Music" reached the top of the Billboard Hot Country Airplay charts, the latter of which he celebrated at an occasion at the BMI building in Nashville with his parents present at his No. 1 party. He had also celebrated "Beat of the Music" going No. 1 by diving in waters with sharks; moreover, the song's music video fared well with the fans, topping the fan-voted CMT Hot 20 Countdown.
He will be touring with award-winning country group Little Big Town, as Digital Journal reported.
His new single "Mean To Me" is already in the Top 40 and making its way up the Billboard Hot Country charts.
