article imageBrett Eldredge at No. 2 on country charts, powering up for No. 1

By Markos Papadatos     Jun 7, 2014 in Music
Country singer Brett Eldredge has had a superb year in music. He was up for a CMT Music Award and an ACM "New Artist of the Year" award.
His latest radio single, "Beat of the Music," moves up one spot to No. 2 on the Billboard Hot Country Airplay charts, for the week ending June 14, after charting for 36 weeks.
If all goes well and if the fans keep requesting it at their radio stations, it ought to become Eldredge's second consecutive No. 1 single, after the success of "Don't Ya." It would be very deserving since it is one of the standout tracks from his debut studio album Bring You Back, which was released on Atlantic Nashville last summer.
His fan club party was held yesterday during the CMA Music Festival in Nashville, where he serenaded them to "Beat of The Music," and his fans thoroughly enjoyed his lively rendition, especially since they were singing back every word to him and clapping along.
