Inglewood - Superstar Beyonce earned eight nominations at this year's MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs), meanwhile rappers Iggy Azalea and Eminem follow close behind with seven.
The 2014 MTV VMAs will take place on August 24 at The Forum in Inglewood, California.
In the most prestigious category of the night, "Video of the Year," Beyonce and Jay-Z's collaboration "Drunk in Love" will be vying Iggy Azalea featuring Charli XCX's "Fancy." Miley Cyrus' viral video for "Wrecking Ball" is also in the running, which will make this even more interesting.
Beyonce and Azalea are up for "Best Female Video," but this time Beyonce is nominated for her "Partition" video. They are joined by Ariana Grande's "Problem," Lorde's "Royals" and Katy Perry's "Dark Horse."
The "Best Male Video" category consists of Ed Sheeran's "Sing," Eminem and Rihanna's "The Monster," John Legend's "All of Me," Pharrell Williams' "Happy" and British pop star Sam Smith's "Stay With Me." This will certainly be one of the toughest races of the evening, since any of these male artists is worthy for the win.
