On performing at Best Buy Theater in the heart of Times Square in New York City, they said, “We love New York. The crowd here is always amazing. We love playing here every time, so it’s a great time.”
Regarding their single “Model,” Connor said, “It came out about a week ago, and it was one of the first songs that we wrote. It is our first single with RCA, which we are so excited about. We actually wrote and produced the song and we are beyond pumped for it.”
On opening for The Vamps, Toby from the band said, “They are really good guys. Before this tour, we were actually friends with them, so it was cool going into a tour with somebody you already look up to and are cool with, so it’s a big hang-out all the time.”
Being a part of RCA Records, feels like an extended family for Before You Exit. “We are so pumped to be working with a great team,” the band concurred.
For aspiring musicians, Connor said, “You can never be good enough. You can always be better and you can always perfect your craft. You can never give up honestly, since that is the day that something may happen.”
Riley added, “Do it for the right reasons: for the love of music, and not for the money and the fame. It’s all about the music, first and foremost.”
Before You Exit was influenced by such artists as Maroon 5, John Mayer, Michael Jackson and classic rock group Aerosmith. “We pull a little big from every genre,” they said.
Their band name originated from the following saying and quote, “Before You Exit, make a difference.”
In their spare time, the guys from Before You Exit enjoy hanging out with friends, going out on a boat, going to movies, and going bowling. “We all hang out together,” they concurred.
Connor listed Selena Gomez as his dream female duet choice, Toby selected Ariana Grande and Riley picked Taylor Swift.
