During the finale, Fradiani performed such vocals as “Bright Lights,” “Ain’t No Sunshine” and the coronation tune “Beautiful Life.”
Particularly impressive about both Fradiani and Beckham was that neither musician landed in the bottom 3 at any point this season, and they have a mutual respect for each other’s talent.
A Guilford, Connecticut, native, Fradiani won the hearts of America thanks to his captivating renditions of such hit songs as Katy Perry’s “Teenage Dream,” Edwin McCain’s “I’ll Be,” Patti Smith’s “Because The Night,” Andy Grammer’s “Back Home,” and his moving audition of Peter Gabriel’s “In Your Eyes.”
On August 5, the Top 5 finalists of this season will be performing with a live band at Beacon Theatre in New York City, as part of the “American Idols LIVE! Tour 2015.” To learn more about this New York show, click here.
