Singer Nick Carter from the Backstreet Boys has addressed his recent arrest in Key West, Florida, via his social networks.
Carter noted that he is human and not perfect. "I am human and at times it can be a struggle to balance a healthy lifestyle. I'm not perfect and for that I am sorry," Carter posted on Twitter, and his apology was well-received by his fans.
The pop heartthrob added in a subsequent post. "When we fall we have to get up and keep on walking. I hope you stay by my side and continue to walk with me," he tweeted to his fans and followers.
Carter has a new solo project out, All American, which garnered a favorable review from Digital Journal.
This March, Carter will be performing live at PlayStation Theater in New York City's Times Square.
