This year's Top 5 American Idol finalists will be embarking on the "American Idol LIVE! Tour" and it will feature special guest performances from this season.
Fans can expect to see live performances from newly-crowned Idol winner Nick Fradiani, as well as runner-up winner Clark Beckham, Jax, Tyanna Jones and Rayvon Owen. They will display their individual vocals and skills in a never before "Storytellers" style concert, where they will be backed by a live band.
American Idol is the most successful musical competition in the history of television, and it returns this summer for its 14th consecutive national tour, which will feature 37 performances in different cities. It kicks off on July 7 in Clearwater, Florida, and on August 5, they will be performing at Beacon Theatre in New York City.
In addition, it has been confirmed, via 19 Entertainment, that several Idols from this season will join the tour in select cities as special guest performers. Joey Cook will join the tour for the first six nights in Clearwater, Sarasota, Melbourne, Orlando, Fort Myers and Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
This past season of American Idol was produced by FremantleMedia North America and 19 Entertainment, a division of CORE Media Group. It was hosted by Ryan Seacrest, and its three judges included country mega-star Keith Urban, Jennifer Lopez and Harry Connick Jr.
