American Idol’s David Cook to release new ‘Digital Vein’ album

This will be the third studio effort of Cook’s music career, and he made the announcement via his Pledge Music page.

His album is entitled Digital Vein and it will be distributed through InGrooves Music Group. A 12-track collection, it will feature seven new songs and his single “Laying Me Low.” It will also include Cook’s rendition of “Wicked Game” by Chris Isaak, a song that he regularly performs in his live shows, such as his concert last year at John J. Burns Park in Massapequa, New York.

The album will also feature his song “Wait For Me.”

Cook had signed a publishing deal With Warner/Chappell this past March, which is the music publishing arm of the Warner Music Group.
