article imageAlter Bridge to release new studio album 'The Last Hero'

Acclaimed hard rock group Alter Bridge will be releasing their fifth studio album this October entitled "The Last Hero."
It will be released on October 7 via Caroline Records in the United States and Canada, as well as Napalm Records for the rest of the world. It is comprised of 13 tracks, and it features front-man Myles Kennedy on lead vocals and guitars, Mark Tremonti on guitars and vocals, Brian Marshall on bass, and Scott Phillips on drums. The band reunited with long-time collaborator Michael "Elvis" Baskette, and it was masted by Grammy-winner Ted Jensen.
The CD features their lead single "Show Me a Leader," and its lyric video may be seen below.
In addition, Alter Bridge will be headlining a tour in the United States, which kicks off on September 22 in Destin, Florida, which is in support of their forthcoming studio effort. This tour will include concert stops in Texas, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Carolina and Nashville. They will also play in a few festivals this fall such as the inaugural Houston Open Air Festival, Sonic Boom, Louder Than Life and the Tulsa State Fair.
On July 30, they will be performing at the Nikon at Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh on Long Island, with such musical acts as Disturbed, Breaking Benjamin and Saint Asonia.
