Adele’s ‘Hello’ No. 1 on iTunes in 85 countries worldwide

Adele’s single is No. 1 on the iTunes charts in 85 countries, and her forthcoming studio album, 25, is No. 1 on the iTunes chart in 77 countries, proving that she is a true force to be reckoned with in the music industry. Her album will not be released for another four weeks, and those numbers were based on pre-order sales.

Her song’s music video for “Hello” was directed by acclaimed young Canadian director Xavier Dolan, and it has been viewed well over three million times. It has garnered nothing but favorable feedback from her fans, critics and her peers in the music scene. The album will be available worldwide on November 20.

Aside from winning every award possible that the entertainment industry offers, Adele met Queen Elizabeth II and was honored in 2013 as a Most Excellent Order of the British Empire for contributions to the music industry.
