At this year's Tokyo Game Show (TGS 2014), ATLUS has streamed new trailers for the upcoming North American & European launch of "Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth."
ATLUS has major plans for its “Shin Megami Tensei” franchise. One such franchise in the series is known as the “Persona” series. There are “Persona 4: Arena Ultimax” and “Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth,” both available in Japan, which will be getting North American releases; the former is hitting North America at the end of this month for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 consoles. A couple of trailers was recently released for the game. Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth, which is a crossover between “Persona 3” and “Persona 4,” is getting a North American release on November 25.
Europe gets the game on November 28.
At this year's Tokyo Game Show (TGS 2014), ATLUS has streamed a couple of new trailers for Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth. All the trailers are in English-language text and audio. The English voice actors in the previous Persona 3 and Persona 4 games will reprise their roles for Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth. The first trailer gives the story behind the game.
At Yasogami High School, one of the locations in Persona 4, a mysterious clock tower appears outside on the last day of the school festival. Then, the bell rings as the sound transports the heroes of Persona 4 through time and space into an parallel version of the school inhabited by the Shadows. Then, the heroes of Persona 3 and Persona 4 must join forces to combat the threat. There, they meet mysterious amnesiac newcomers Rei and Zen who prove to be important to the story. You can pick between the P3 hero (known as Minato) or the P4 hero (known as Yu). This game will be played via first-person with random encounters similar to other games in ATLUS' Shin Megami Tensei universe.
Also, character trailers have been introduced as well. The first one is for Akihiko Sanada who is from Persona 3. Akihiko's dialogue gives a hint of his role in the Persona 4: Arena fighting game series. In Persona 3, he is an upperclassman who is part of S.E.E.S.
The second one is for Chie Satonaka who is from Persona 4. She comes off as the de facto tomboy and martial artist.
The third trailer is for Yosuke Hanamura from Persona 4. He comes off as the comic relief and self-proclaimed ladies' man. Also, Yosuke comes off as the most rational of the characters.
The fourth trailer is for Mitsuru Kirijo from Persona 3. She is the serious-minded member of S.E.E.S in Persona 3. Her company, the Kiriji Group, funds the S.E.E.S.
Persona fans can look forward to this game in November.
