Hello Games has announced that No Man's Sky is now available for pre-order on a verity of digital distribution platforms and major retailers.
Currently the game is available for pre-order through Steam and GOG while a physical copy could be purchased at retailers like GameStop. Meanwhile the PlayStation store is offering both a digital download and physical copy of the game.
PlayStation gamers have the option to pre-order a standard edition of No Man's Sky or a limited edition. The limited edition features exclusive content not available in the standard edition along with an art book and a comic book.
The standard edition is currently the only option available for PC gamers, however a special edition could be unveiled sometime in the future.
No Man's Sky is an open world survival game as players take on the role of an explore as they journey through an uncharted galaxy. This is the third game from Hello Games and it's set to be released on June 21 for the PC and PlayStation 4.
The game was first unveiled at E3 2014 and was highly praised by critics who compared it to Spore. No Man's Sky won the E3's award for Best Original Game and Best Independent Game along with receiving a special commendation.
