article imageFallon challenges Brosnan to a game of '007 GoldenEye'

While promoting his upcoming film, 'The November Man', on 'The Tonight Show', host Jimmy Fallon challenged Pierce Brosnan to a game of '007 Goldeneye'.
It has been 12 years since Brosnan played the role of James Bond but that didn't stop Fallon from convincing him to play a round of the classic game. Despite being based on his d├ębut film as the iconic spy, Brosnan admits to have rarely played the game.
Using an N64 hooked up to a big screen TV, Fallon and Brosnan played a round of multiplayer. They played in the "Complex" level using power weapons and first to earn five kills won the match. Brosnan would once again take on the role of Bond while Fallon played as Alec Trevelyan (played by Sean Bean in the film).
Despite having played the role of James Bond, Brosnan wasn't that good at the game as he fumbled to figure out the controls. Fallon was quick to find a weapon and beat him very quickly.
Brosnan was a good sport about being defeated and laughed it off along side Fallon and the audience. While not being a devoted gamer, Brosnan had played the role of Bond in several video games.
007 GoldenEye was released for the N64 in 1997 and has been hailed as one of the greatest video games of all time for redefining the shooter genre for the consoles. The game was remade in 2010 for the Seventh Generation consoles and redesigned to fit in the Daniel Craig universe.
The November Man is an upcoming spy thriller set to be released on August 27, 2014.
