Most of the cast from the original 1979 film have reunited to reprise their role for two special 'Alien: Isolation'-DLC's.
The DLC's recreate several key moments from the classic film and serves to introduce new players to the concept of Ridley Scott original vision.
Sigourney Weaver will return in the role of Ellen Ripley for the first time in 15 years. She will be joined with Tom Skerritt as Dallas, Yaphet Kotto as Parker, along with Harry Dean Stanton as Brett. Absent from the reunion will be Ian Holmes as Ash and John Hurt as Kane.
The first DLC, Crew Expendable, will have players take on the role of either Ripley, Dallas or Parker and have them explore the Nostradamus and locate the Xenomorph. The DLC is made available to anyone who pre-orders the game.
The second DLC, Last Survivor, will have players take on the role of Ripley who must set the self-destruct sequence and race to the escape shuttle. The DLC is only available to anyone who pre-orders the game at selected retailers.
Alien: Isolation is a horror survival game that is influenced by the original film. The game will be set after the events of Alien and will have players take on the role of Amanda Ripley-McClaren, Ellen Ripley's daughter, who is searching for her missing mother.
The game will be released on October 7 for all major consoles and the PC.
