A spokesman for the Roswell Ga. police department, Officer Lisa Holland, said Brown was alive when transported to the North Fulton Hospital in Roswell but did not have an up to date report on her condition now. Most recent reports say she was “revived” but is now in a medically induced coma.
“Her husband and a friend located her in a bath tub this morning and she was unresponsive,” the statement from Ofc. Holland said. “He started CPR and a police officer took over life-saving measures until an ambulance arrived. She was transported to the hospital.”
Some reports list Ms. Brown as 21-years-old, others as 22.
She was devastated at the loss of her mother, who died at the age of 48 on Feb. 11, 2012 in the Beverly Hills Hilton in Beverly Hills, the day before the 2012 Grammy Awards, of which she was expected to attend. The cause of Mr. Houston’s death was said to be drowning; the coroner ruled that heart disease and cocaine use were contributing factors.
Bobbi Kristina Brown and her husband live in a gated community in Roswell, which is a suburb of Atlanta. She was found not breathing at 10:25 a.m. and help was immediately called for. It’s unknown what caused her to be in that condition and there are no reports of drug use or any suspicion of foul play.
“Please keep her and the family in your thoughts and prayers,” Officer Holland said.
