A safety announcement by Southwest Airlines flight attendant, Marty Cobb, goes viral after she makes hilarious comments that makes the on-board passengers respond in spontaneous cheering and applause.
Cobb begins her announcement by saying: "If I can have your attention for just a few moments, my ex-husband, my new boyfriend and their divorce attorney are going to show you the safety features." Explaining her light-hearted comments Cobb adds "it's been a long day for me."
Referring to the plane's life-jackets as "teeny weeny southwest bikinis," the passengers erupt with laughter and also at Cobb's joke that the flight is a "non-smoking, non-whining, and non-complaining flight." The on-board passenger's appeared to enjoy Cobb's surprising announcement by spontaneously applauding at her conclusion.
Southwest Airlines is well-known for the light-hearted fun on board, and it's reputation has gained a Facebook group "Funny Stuff They Say on Southwest Airlines" where passengers add comments of their comical experiences.
Cobb, who features in the viral video, has been a flight attendant with Southwest Airlines for over seven years, and is well-liked by passengers. One passenger, Tom Proietti, states that: "Marty is the most caring and hilarious flight attendant I have ever encountered. And she is an even better person. A flight with her is an unbelievable treat."
