A second trailer has been streamed for the upcoming Japanese anime series called "Tokyo Ghoul" which is due to air this July.
The second trailer has been streamed for the upcoming supernatural horror and action anime series called “Tokyo Ghoul” which is adapted from the manga of the same name. This new trailer gets right to one of the most exciting points, the fighting. You can see in the trailer that Tokyo Ghoul will have plenty of intense supernatural fights. Tokyo Ghoul's first episode will be airing in Japan come July 3; it is unknown if it will be picked up by any of the online streaming services such as Crunchyroll or Hulu at the moment.
Somewhat similar to “HBO's Tales from The Crypt” episode, called “Mournin' Mess,” Tokyo Ghoul explores the concept of ghouls living amongst humans in the modern world. The setting of Tokyo Ghoul is in Tokyo, Japan. People turn up missing; when they are found, their corpses show signs that they were cannibalized. Thus, protagonists Ken Kaneki and Toka Kirishima theorize on the possibility of “ghouls” existing.
Soon, they will learn that this theory turns out to be very true.
