article imageVideo: Canadian fimmakers lampoon soccer flopping trend

By Walter McDaniel     Jul 11, 2014 in Entertainment
Niagara - All of us are at least a little stunned when we see blatant flopping in soccer. A small team of Canadian filmmakers have made a video poking fun at the ridiculousness of a few fouls.
The video features average people flopping over in unbelievable ways. For sports fans you know this is something very common today. Some of them are so bad that even the ref looks on in confusion. The internet abounds with examples of these. Some might say the above video is the trend taken to the stream but it looks more like an accurate representation to others.
The film was made by Fourgrounds Media Inc. They do a variety short films and other projects that have a humorous and sometimes informative slant. They are gaining popularity on YouTube and you can watch quite a few of their videos on their page for free. These filmmakers are centered in Niagara, Canada and love poking fun at both their own culture and the culture at large.
Canada's YouTube scene is growing since they already have EpicMealTime within their ranks as well. Hopefully Fourgrounds Media will continue making high-quality, comical videos like they have done already. Their rock figure skit on the heroism of Canada was particularly good as well. Take a look at it below.
