"30 Rock" star and comedian Tracy Morgan sustained serious injuries when his vehicle was involved in a car accident Saturday morning.
Tracy Morgan was rushed to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Centre in New Jersey when his limousine bus became involved in a six-car pileup, a spokesperson for the actor confirmed. According to authorities, the crash took place around 1 a.m. on the New Jersey Turnpike. Of the six people in the vehicle, one person had died; Morgan is among the victims listed as being in critical condition.
Morgan was on the road as part of his "Turn it Funny" comedy tour had just finished performing a show in Delaware a few hours before the fatal crash. The cause of the pileup has not been determined.
Tracy Morgan is well-known for his role in the NBC critically-acclaimed comedy series 30 Rock where he starred alongside Alec Baldwin and fellow Saturday Night Live alum Tina Fey.
