The production will be taking place at the Greenwin Theatre at the Toronto Centre for the Arts in Canada from June 6 until June 19. For her transformative performance as Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir, Feldshuh garnered rave reviews from theater critics, and she holds the record for the longest one-woman show in the history of Broadway.
Feldshuh earned the 2004 Tony Award nomination for “Best Actress in a Play,” and she took home the Drama Desk Award for “Outstanding Solo Performance.”
Digital Journal had the privilege to see Feldshuh in “Golda’s Balcony” in May of 2015 at the Kupferberg Center for the Performing Arts at Queens College in Flushing, New York, where she earned 5 out of 5 stars for a stellar show.
