Recently it was reported that the Stephen King novel, "11/22/63" was being adapted to an eight-part miniseries on Hulu. The story tells the tale of a man, going back in time to try to stop the assassination of US President John F. Kennedy.
Stephen King's exciting time travel novel, 11/22/63, is in the process of being adapted to an eight-part miniseries to feature on Hulu. While the punctuation in the title of 11.22.63 is slightly different, the miniseries will reportedly keep to the tale featured in the original novel by King.
As reported by The Verge, Hulu is trying to "keep up with the Joneses," i.e. that other famous streaming Internet portal, Netflix, by bringing out some exciting offerings. It recently took over the series The Mindy Project from Fox and are now venturing into fantasy/sci-fi options, including the latest, 11.22.63.

The story tells the tale of teacher, Jake Epping, played by James Franco, who finds out about a time portal in a local diner, owned by one Al Templeton, played by Chris Cooper. Templeton asks Epping to go back in time using the time portal to stop the assassination of US President John F. Kennedy.
Complications arise as Epping falls in love with both the 1960s and a woman that he meets in the past, Sadie Dunhill, played by Sarah Gadon, pictured below.
