Oslo - Sounding eerily like American jazz singer and songwriter Billie Holiday, eight-year-old Angelina Jordan Astar became the youngest person ever to win "Norway's Got Talent" with a fascinating rendition of the song "Summertime."
The Local describes Astar's voice as like that of a "heroin-addled 1940s jazz singer" as she blasts out the famous George Gershwin hit from "Porgy and Bess" in the video above.
At the start of the show in March, Astar performed an incredible version of "Gloomy Sunday," also made famous by Billie Holiday, which became a big hit on YouTube and the version below has received over seven million views.
That performance got her 46 percent of the vote, putting her well on the way to the 500,000 kroner ($80,000) prize.
After the latest performance on May 23, Astar broke into tears as presenter Solveig Kloppen announced that she had won.
"Thank you to everyone who voted for me and thank you to Grandma," Astar said.
