After months of rumors and speculation, WCW legend Sting made his World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) debut on Sunday night at Survivor Series.
Sting, 55, interrupted the main event at Survivor Series. He prevented Triple H's "Team Authority" from defeating John Cena's "Team Cena." If Cena's team lost, Triple H and his wife, Stephanie McMahon, would have remained in power and in full control of the WWE.
When Sting entered the ring, he and Triple H had an intense stare down. Eventually Sting hit Triple H with the Scorpion Death Drop, and then three Dolph Ziggler on top of Seth Rollins, which secured Team Cena's win.
Sting's WWE debut came shortly after Hulk Hogan expressed interest in coming back to the WWE for one last match at Wrestlemania 31, which takes place next year in March.
Sting didn't appear the following night on WWE Raw, but former WWE World Heavyweight champion Daniel Bryan did. Bryan hasn't been inside the WWE ring for months, due to an injury. Bryan was the guest "General Manager" for Raw.
As of now, it doesn't appear that the WWE has booked Sting in a match, but the signs are pointing to a match between Sting and Triple.
