A few weeks ago, at San Diego Comic Con 2014, a trailer for the History's Channel's hit show 'The Vikings,' season three, premiered.
Season three of The Vikings will air in early 2015, and Michael Hirst, the show's creator, told fans what they can expect next year. Hirst said that they will be going back to Wessex because of King Ecbert and Princess Kwentrith. He also said that they will be going to Paris, where the French emperor will be introduced to fans.
Hirst said that people are not going to expect what the vikings find, such as the Franks, who were living in the area at the time. Hirst said that the language the Franks were speaking was not heard for hundreds and hundreds of years.
The cast also revealed that a major character will die in season three. However, they were quiet on who was getting axed from the show.
The trailer shows the seer talking, Ragnar in his ship surrounded by decapitated heads and Ragnar's son, Bjorn, running into battle. Floki, Ragnar's best friend, is also shown picking up a crown.
The Vikings is a show that airs on the History Channel, and it followes the life of Ragnar Lothbrok, a viking warrior and a farmer.
In season one the show follows Ragnar's rise to being crowned as the chief viking, while season two followed him and his vikings exploring new lands.
