Called SnapperHero, the series will feature a number of YouTube stars portraying superheroes, Bloomberg reports.
The series will be available early this year, and is a partnership between AT&T and video producers Astronauts Wanted and Fullscreen. In true SnapChat fashion, each episode will be 100 to 200 seconds long, and only available for viewing for a short period of time. The series will be released four episodes per week for three weeks, for a total of 12 episodes. Though a start date isn’t clear, the series will run through to March.
Mashable reports that a number of Internet stars have already signed onto the series, like Jasmeet Singh and Freddie Wong.
Though this is not officially a partnership with SnapChat, SnapperHero was created specifically for its new platform, Discover. AT&T got on board largely due to the success of a series called “@SummerBreak,” a reality series exclusive to YouTube and Vine.
Launched Tuesday, Discover is a new way for SnapChat users to access news and video. So far 12 brands have partnered with SnapChat, including new organizations like CNN and the Daily Mail, as well as entertainment properties like Comedy Central.
