New York City - Richard Mathy of 'The Bachelorette' season four is now working on trying to open his own brewery. Digital Journal got the chance to talk to him about this new venture.
Richard Mathy is best known by his fans for his time on The Bachelorette season four with Deanna Pappas. He may have not won her heart, but he still made a lot of fans. Now he is moving on to a new business venture.
Mathy has started a new Kickstarter campaign to help him out with his new brewery. He is starting this business with his friend Justin Staskiewicz that Richard has known since they were in high school.
Richard told Digital Journal, "It started as hobby brewing, but is now being taken to a production level." They are working to raise $17,500 to start the Fulton Chain Craft Brewery. On Twitter, it is known as FCCBrewery. Once they get enough money to get started, this brewery will be located in the area of Old Forge, New York.
Fulton Chain Craft Brewery will be so much more than just a place that makes beer. They explained that it will also be a tasting room. The Kickstarter page explains saying that they are using New York state ingredients which will mean they can include a tasting room for everyone to enjoy.
Richard Mathy and Justin Staskiewicz are already brewing beer. If they can get enough funds from their Kickstarter campaign, they will buy more equipment so that they can make enough beer to keep up with the demand from customers. Fulton Chain Craft Brewery sounds like it will be the place to be in New York.
